AS 5369:2023 Ready
In December 2023, AS 5369:2023 replaced the previous standard covering water quality for reprocessing reusable medical devices, including dental instruments. The ADA’s own infection control guidelines have referenced it directly since February 2024.
Bacterial Endotoxin Aware
The current standard introduced a new endotoxin testing requirement for final rinse water that did not exist previously. Practices should check their current compliance position.
