Cation Exchange Filtration
Positively charged ions including calcium, magnesium, sodium, and heavy metals are captured by the cation exchange resin component. This stage eliminates the primary source of resistivity degradation in laboratory water systems.
Anion Exchange Filtration
Negatively charged species including chloride, sulphate, nitrate, and bicarbonate are simultaneously removed. Operating in tandem with cation exchange, this produces a deeply deionised effluent in a single pass.
