Space is the most expensive commodity in a modern laboratory. When you need high-output Type 2 water but your floor plan is already at capacity, the solution is to look up.

Mounting the Analytica 100 directly over a bench sink transforms an underutilized wall into a high-performance workstation for CLRW (Clinical Laboratory Reagent Water) production.

Unlike the Pro version, which is built for large-scale distribution loops, the standard Analytica 100 is the perfect “point-of-use” powerhouse. It provides the exact same water quality in a footprint optimized for localized lab tasks.

Vertical Integration: Why the Sink Mount Works

Mounting the Analytica 100 over a sink is a strategic move for workflow efficiency. It places your water source exactly where the work happens: at the prep station.

  • Ergonomic Monitoring: With the unit at eye level, your team can monitor the digital display and pressure gauges without bending over or stepping away from their station.
  • Zero-Footprint Operation: By utilizing wall space, you keep your workbenches clear for analyzers, sample prep, and documentation.
  • Direct Drainage: Positioning the unit over the sink makes the mandatory system flushing and maintenance cycles effortless. Waste water goes directly down the drain, eliminating the need for complex external plumbing.

Technical Installation Essentials

To get the most out of a wall-mounted setup, you have to nail the installation details. The Analytica 100 is housed in a durable, powder-coated aluminum chassis, but it still requires a solid foundation.

1. Wall Reinforcement: A fully loaded Analytica 100, including the 4-stage internal filtration and water weight, requires a secure mount. As seen in the reference configuration, using a backing board or mounting directly into wall studs is mandatory. Do not rely on standard drywall anchors for a system this robust.

2. Localized Pretreatment: Even in a compact setup, your RO membrane needs protection. Mounting a vertical pretreatment column alongside the Analytica 100 (as shown in the provided photo) is the smartest way to handle chlorine and particulate removal. This small addition significantly lowers your long-term cost of ownership by extending the life of the internal cartridges.

3. Splash Clearance: While the unit is built for the lab, ensure it is mounted high enough to allow for large flask or carboy filling, yet low enough that the 0.2μm final filter is easy to reach for routine swaps.

Maintaining Peak Performance

The Analytica 100 is designed for simplicity. Because the unit is mounted in your direct line of sight, maintenance becomes proactive rather than reactive.

Check your gauges daily. If the inlet pressure drops, it is usually a sign that your pretreatment filters are doing their job and reaching capacity. Keeping these external filters fresh ensures the Analytica 100 continues to deliver 100 L/hr of high-purity water without strain.

By moving your purification to the wall, you are not just saving space. You are creating a dedicated, ergonomic station that ensures your CLRW water is always within arm’s reach, exactly when the science demands it.

We are creating the most reliable and intuitive ultrapure water purification system available to laboratories.
